Bumbu Rum is a richly flavoured Caribbean rum crafted with traditional methods and aged for up to 15 years to create a smooth, deep, and naturally sweet profile. It is known for its warm, welcoming aromas of Madagascan vanilla, soft caramel, and toasted oak. As the rum develops on the palate, it reveals layers of roasted nuts, cinnamon, allspice, and a mild sweetness that rounds out the flavour beautifully.
This rum is made at a historic Barbadian distillery founded in 1893, where the production stills date back to 1840, preserving old-world rum craftsmanship. Bumbu uses sugarcane sourced from eight different Caribbean and South American countries, each contributing its own unique character. After distillation and aging, the rum is blended with natural Caribbean ingredients, rested, blended again, and then bottled to ensure a balanced, refined result.
